Photo Sculptures- Digital Drawing, Layering, and Manipulation
How could you apply the ideas of Cubism combined with digital art skills to communicate the “parts of you”? We will explore iPad painting, photo manipulation, layering and editing apps to create a 3-dimensional "photosculpture". The Photosculptures have been inspired by the artist Bruno Del Zou, which are printed, mounted and layered photo reliefs.
Students will create stencils and impressions inspired by the theme 'Emergence'. Using these they will print fabric, tissue, and paper and use these to design and execute an avant-garde ensemble.
The world’s most popular natural problems emerge through a series of miniature models constructed, photographed, and animated. A surreal character will be created as a superhero with Saving the world storyboard. Students will use their technical skills and imagination to build a model of our natural world in extraordinary details by modelling clay and turn daily-life objects into parts of the construction. The photos of each mini scene will also be taken and exhibited as final products.
